found some golden memories from youtube
since one of the greatest voices of modern times ronnie jamed dio just silenced recently I want to honor his memory w a song I have listened all my youth ( yes I was young once- for yrs indeed) ...... you don´t make music like this anymore .
it has one of my fave drummers on it as well ( him dead as well) ,cozy powell . he was never the fastest or tecnically very outstanding , but more importantly he played w his heart . and he fits in perfectly . STILL I`M SAD  YouTube- Rainbow (Ronnie James Dio RIP), Still i'm sad ( LIVE )

I have often wondered how dio could sing just as well in 2010 than in 1977 .... his voice was just as good till the end . although one should not compare musicians , I can only think freddy mercury in same sentence w ronnie james .
freddy´s voice too lasted the yrs , until early death of aids.

good bands and singers are just as good as they are in live situation IMO. in that class blackmore´s rainbow w dio performed really well too . these are the kind of songs one just listens w shut eyes and enjoys . too bad I could not find a version of this " catch the rainbow" song i wanted . this ain´t bad either ....IMO again . may ronnie be on that rainbow he sings about in this song
