CJP, do me a favor and educate me on what insulin cycling is going to do for you. I have read that the pro's need it to get freaky, but what are the benefits/drawbacks. I have zero experience with it and am curious as to how it works. Thanks pal.

Basically what insulin does is it makes your muscles take in more nutrients. Normally insulin is released in your body to deal with high blood glucose levels which you get after you eat. It moves through your body and binds with the receptor sites on your muscles and your liver and this makes it easier for your muscles to absorb the glucose in your blood and once your blood glucose levles go back down your pancreas stops producing insulin and your muscles stop absorbing.
When you inject insulin it does the exact same thing but at a much higher rate. Not only are you adding more insulin than your body would produce you are adding it when your body would not normally produce it in the first place. Thus causeing your muscles to absorb nutrients when they normally wouldnt or at least absorb more than they normally would. Insulin is also the most anabolic hormone and im sure we all know what that means. The benefits of insulin are the ability to cause muscular hypertrophy at an extreme rate and if used properly cause high amounts of fat loss. The drawbacks of insulin are alot worse than with steroids. Insulin is a non discrimatory storage devise. So basically what you eat is what it will store in your muscles. If you are eating alot of fat you will get very fat very quickly. So when using insulin or at least while it is in you system it is important to keep your fat intake at a minimal. Some fats are required but you need to make sure you dont eat to much fat or like I said you will get fat. Another drawback of insulin is the potential of becoming a diabetic. If you use it for too long you run the risk of shuting down your pancreas. And the worst drawback of insulin is death. This stuff is very tricky. If you use it wrong you will die. Because it draws all of the glucose out of your blood if you dont add more glucose to your system you could slip into a diabetic coma. If that happens your probably not going to get out of it and if you dont get more glucose in your fucked. Its not hard to keep your levels up and even if they do fall to low you can get them back up in time but if you dont your dead.

Last year I was going to compete. I was really set on doing it but then I got laid off and couldnt afford it. Now, just like before I have to much anxiety to get up on stage. Im 6'4" so I need to have a alot more mass on me to go up against the shorter guys but I know I have what it takes to make my way up the latter. Weather I could actually become pro or not is another story. I have confidence in myself but I also know how to face reality. Other than last year I have always wanted to bodybuild and be just massive but I never really cared about competing. I might get into it and I might not but either way I am training like thats what im going for.

You testing your blood sugar etc? If I remember correctly, too much insulin = quick death. Need to get some sugar in asap kinda thing. You're obviously a guy who does his research. I guess as long as you know the signs and are careful, you will be fine.
Good luck mate |

Its not really having to much insulin that causes the problem its just having to low blood glucose levels (which is caused by high insulin levels). Each type of insulin has a different onset time, peak time and total duration so you just need to eat or consume carbs to correspond with those times. You dont need to wait until a certian time to eat or anything its just if you wait to long you run into problems. And anytime you use insulin you want to make sure you have some dextrose on hand. Dextrose is basically just glucose. Its actually called D-glucose or corn sugar if you buy it from the store. Its just a simple carb that will spike your glucose levels very quickly. You need to keep this on hand so that if you do run into trouble you can just slam it back and you will be fine. It comes in a powder and mixes with water very easily. You can also just drink that instead of a meal if you are to full from your last meal and its also good to sip on because then the insulin will have more glucose to put in your muscles.

Man using insulin sucks balls. LOL, no its not that bad. Its just having to eat so much and drink that fucking dextrose all the time is hard work. I have been growing quite well from it. I have noticed that my shoulders are getting alot bigger and because of that they have taken on a square look at the top. I have also gotten alot thicker too. I have only gained a few pounds but I have found that my weight really has no bearing on my size. I did 22ius today and will run at least this much for the next 2 and a half weeks. I might start doing afternoon injections as well but I havent decided yet.
