Deadlifts today. 122.5kg
5, 5, 5

Ab work after.

Felt good. Form was spot on. Another 2.5kg next week. WIll work the 5 reps as far as I can.

Today was paused speed bench. I'm a bit slow really so this is an area that needs work.

Paused speed bench with 45 second rest between sets
10 sets of 3 with three sets of rotator cuff work between bench sets with 6kg dumbells

Skull crushers 32.5kg
2 sets of 10

Dumbell tricep press 28kg dumbell
2 sets of 10

Abs with cable machine 31.25kg
3 sets of 10

Felt good. Massive pump also. My speed really was not good off the chest which is not what I expected. I also think the paused bench makes me see the things I get wrong when benching. It was pointed out that I was using a little bounce from my chest to get the bar going. That's no good so I'm sorting that out.

Yesterday.

Reverse grip bent over rows 67.5kg
10, 10, 9


Standard grip belt over rows 52.5kg
10, 10, 10

Neutral grip cable rows 51kg
10, 10, 10

Ran out of time, would have liked to have done more. What I did was good quality though I felt. Form was solid and I was pretty tired.

Deadlift friday went well. Had the mirrors to see my form as I was training.

Deadlifts 127.5kg
5, 5, 5

Ab work after

Really pleased that it was simple to add another 5kg and still rep the 5s without any issues. I was tired after but I felt good. Hopefully I can carry on with 5 rep sets for a while adding weight every week.

Yesterday

Incline dumbell press 25kg dumbells
8, 7, 6

Close grip bench 40kg
10, 8, 7

Shoulder work and tricep work.

My incline and close grip are really weak. Something I need to work on.

Deadlifts on friday. Had a rest this week. Only deadlifts.

Deadlifts 130kg
5, 5, 5

A little sloppy on the last set. 130kg doesn't feel very heavy but the reps tire me quick. I felt pretty sick after. Wanted to throw up. It's all good.
